- tag: ‘work‘ - When you create notes at work, it’s good to use additional tag to make sure that in the future you will easily find all stuff related to your office issues.
- tag: ‘TODO‘ - use it if you create an item to your TODO list
- tags: ‘toLearn‘, ‘toRead‘, ‘toBuy‘, ‘toSell‘, … - use these tags together with tag ‘TODO‘ to divide your TODO stuff to some smaller pieces. Then if you want to find all TODOs, you can simply choose only ‘TODO‘ tag. But if you want to read something you can type two tags: ‘toRead‘, ‘TODO‘ or only one: ‘toRead‘ to get the list of planned readings
- tag: ‘NameSurname‘ - mark that this note is connected with some person. For example you can search for notes with two tags: ‘John Steele‘, ‘toTalk‘ to get the list of things about which you need to talk with John Steele.
- tag: ‘contact‘ - use it if your note contains some contact information about person or bussiness (telephone, address, email). Then you can easily find all your contacts, by searching notes for with this tag.
- tags: ‘finance‘, ‘plus‘, ‘minus‘ - track your finances. Use ‘plus‘ for income and ‘minus‘ for expenses
- tag: ‘objective‘ - use it to describe your objectives, important issues you want to finish. Use it connected with tag ‘2007‘ to note your objective for year 2007
- tag: ‘www‘ - use this tag if note contains www address. Searching for this tag you can get a list similar to bookmarks in your internet browser, but accessible from any computer.
- tags: ‘habit‘, ‘good‘, ‘bad‘ - use these tags to manage your habits. After searching for tags: ‘habit‘, ‘good‘ you will get the list of your good habits. Try to reduce a number of items returned after searching for: ‘habit‘, ‘bad‘
- tag: ‘citation‘ - if you find some great citation on the web, put it under this tag to collect them all in one place.
- tag: ‘howTo‘ - use this tag for any tutorials, tips & tricks, etc. After resolving any difficult problem, make a note about it with this tag. In the future if the problem occurs once again, you will get the answer in seconds.
- tag: ‘makeSure‘ - you have some knowledge, but you are not sure. Make a note about it, write down what you already know. In the future when you have some free time you will go back to this and search for information to resolve doubts.
- tag: ‘music‘ - You have heard a really cool song. Put it to the list of songs you must have.
- tag: ‘cookbook‘ - You have just found a great recipe. Note it with this tag to create a new item in your own cookbook.
- tag: ‘Google‘ - Many times you search for something on Google putting set of words and finding many interesting pages. You can use bookmarks to save all founded links one by one, but better approach is to remember used set of words for the future under the tag ‘Google‘ to easily use it next time.
- tag: ‘tool‘ - Have you found a great tool? Write about it under this tag. Additionally you can use the ‘www‘ tag, if you want to inform how to download it or where to find more information.
- date tag - use date as a tag (e.g. ‘2007-03-15‘). Use it if note is connected with particular date. Using this approach you can easily find what was happened (or will happen) during specified day.
- tag: ‘CV‘ - Is it time to change the job? ohh.. where is my CV.. How about my new skills.. hmm.. Oh.. yeah.. I have everything listed on www.getOrganized99.com!
